TENDYFEST 2019 RECAP

It was great day to be a goalie. You know what I mean if you were able to join us for this year’s TendyFest 4 event on May 26th. All the best goalie brands in the game brought their A-games to our biggest and best goalie demo event ever.

This year’s event was expanded to two sheets of ice so our customers could spend more time trying out the latest and greatest gear and this was a big success. We’ll definitely keep this format moving forward.

Huge thanks to everybody who joined us from out of town – we had customers who flew in from as far as Montreal and many more who drove in from all over BC, Washington and even Oregon. We’re truly humbled that everybody from near and far joined us to check out our event!

And of course, TendyFest doesn’t happen without our suppliers and partners so a big thank you for all of their continued support. We saw bigger demo fleets than ever from our suppliers, and it was still barely enough to satisfy the on-ice demand for the two sheets of ice that were packed all day.

We also kicked off something new this year with the first ever InGoal Magazine live podcast that featured an array of guests including Pete Smith from Warrior, Alex Auld from Sportsnet, Dr. Stefan Sigalet from Catalyst Kinetics, Mark Gignac and Spencer Freer from Bauer, Mark Dekanich and a special appearance from long-time customer Tristan Jarry of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Our goal school partners were in attendance once again and I can’t say enough how fortunate we are to work with all of them. If you need on-ice instruction of off-ice conditioning you can find it all under one roof.

I’m super proud of the effort that our entire team puts in to make TendyFest happen. It’s a huge job every year that keeps getting bigger and our team keep knocking the ball out of the park.
