The Hockey Shop is one of a few stores in North America that offers a custom MyBauer Fit Station and program. If you're looking for a pair of skates built specifically to fit your feet — or you have a unique foot shape and consistently struggle to find the right skates — custom fitting is the perfect option.

They'll start with a series of questions about what you're looking for in your skates, what you're using now, and any fitting issues you've had in the past.
THE SCANA 15-second scan. A perfect profile.
The MyBauer Scanner — designed with footwear specialists Volumental — measures your foot stance and shape in about 10–15 seconds, recognizing not just your foot shape but any unique features, space, and support your foot needs to play at your best.
You'll get a Best Recommended Fit profile and a 3D model of your feet: a Bauer model (Vapor, Supreme), your fit type, size, and width — sometimes different between left and right. Your specs can be saved to the Bauer Player database for later. Our Specialist may recommend a different model if it fits your goals better, but the choice is always 100% yours — and Bauer offers countless materials and tech to add and edit from there.
CCM TOTAL CUSTOMCCM Total Custom Skates.
CCM offers custom options across all three of their skate families: Tacks, Jetspeed, and Ribcor. Agile player or power skater, you can get the perfect dimensions for your skates and choose the exact model and specs you want — all to enhance your performance the way you want it.
CCM custom skates come in two packages: Total Custom and Total Custom Plus. Both are built exactly to your foot shape; Total Custom Plus just adds a few more custom choices.

CCM's 3D Fit Scan uses a transparent footstool and the CCM 3D Fit Scanner app. Barefoot, knees at 90°, the Specialist circles you and captures your feet from every angle in about 10–15 seconds. The app then displays a 3D model of your foot and a CCM Best Recommended Fit — model, size, and width for each foot — and our Specialist may suggest a different model based on your goals.

TRUE Hockey got its origins crafting custom hockey skates, and The Hockey Shop is proud to be a verified TRUE Fit Centre. TRUE outfitted us with the technology to scan and analyze your feet for the perfect fit and your ideal performance.
Developed with innovative tech from ex-speed skater Scott Van Horne — who holds a bachelor's in science and a master's in biomechanics — you can be assured of quality and performance in your custom skates.

The TRUE Scanner makes a digital image of your foot in roughly 10–15 seconds, and we may take additional photos to give the skate maker a fuller picture of your foot shape. Then everything goes straight to TRUE so they can get right to building your skates — with custom tech options for the tongue, liner, and more.
