This is the right-side holder from Warrior's XCL skate chassis, sold on its own as a replacement part. The holder is the chassis that bolts to the bottom of the boot and carries the steel runner. It is the piece that gets swapped out after a crack, a broken tower or a stripped mount, and for most players it is a repair rather than an upgrade.
Warrior builds the XCL holder light, and weight saved on a chassis is weight taken off the very bottom of the skate, where it costs the most to swing through a stride. The holder also sets how the runner sits under the boot, so a bent or cracked one usually shows up first as an edge that will not hold through a turn, long before it fails outright.
Holders are sized to the boot, not to a foot measurement. Sizes here run 4 through 12 and have to match the size stamped on the skate. Fitting one is a shop job: the old chassis comes off, the mount holes get checked, and the new one is riveted on and squared to the boot.
For players replacing damaged hardware on an XCL skate, and for anyone booking that repair through a pro shop.
Side: Right (R)
Sizes: 4 to 12
Sold as: Single holder
Holder sizes run 4 through 12 and match the boot rather than the player's foot. Read the size stamped on the bottom of the skate, or have it checked at a pro shop, before ordering. A holder in the wrong size cannot be made to fit.
