Intro & New Features
The next installment of Warrior’s Ritual goalie gear series is finally here; the Ritual G6 Pro+ blocker looks to bring a solid combination of what you already liked in previous models and some new tech. Features include CoverEDGE+ technology, a 20° board shape, HyperComp reinforcements, and X-Foam index finger protection.
External Material
The G6 Pro+ continues to use CoverEDGE+ technology, which is a forward-lean design that creates a better angle when challenging the shot. This tech focuses on cutting down the angle for better puck reach and coverage.
Internal Construction
The Ritual G6 blocker keeps a similar shape to the G5, with some minor adjustments. The board is now thicker with a 20° shape to help boost rebound speed, and the adjusted composition contributes to the overall lightweight design. The hypercomp reinforced construction is made up of carbon fibre and is designed to enhance durability while helping a bit with rebound responsiveness.
Palm Material
The palm of the Ritual G6 is both removable and adjustable, allowing you to decide where your hand sits relative to the blocker board. This way, you can decide on the feel that works best for you.
Side Hand Protection
Warrior’s HyperComp reinforcement has been added to the blocker and side hand. This reinforcement is made up of carbon fibre and is designed to enhance durability while helping a bit with rebound responsiveness. The side index finger protection is also adjustable, allowing you to get the best fit for your style.
Cuff
The cuff is very similar to how it was in previous Ritual blockers, with the internal cuff as part of the palm and the external cuff being velcro-adjustable. The external cuff is made wide and shorter to offer a good range of motion and a better fit with chest and arm protectors.
Hand Protection
The blocker uses X-Foam index finger protection, which wraps around the index finger for additional protection over your hand. The adjustable contoured thumb and finger protection also allows for greater customization, and the finger guards have been designed to offer a full range of motion when moving.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
