Junior fit in a one-size-fits-most shell.
The Warrior Ritual F2 E is the entry mask in the Ritual line, made in youth, junior and senior sizes. It is the mask a lot of minor hockey goalies end up in, and for good reason: a polycarbonate shell, a liner comfortable enough to wear for a full practice, and a wide window to see the puck through.
Polycarbonate keeps the shell light on the head, which matters for a young goalie still getting used to wearing a mask at all. Inside, a dual density VN liner does the real work, with a softer layer against the skin for comfort and a firmer layer behind it for impact. The chin cup is strong, so the mask stays down where you set it instead of riding up as you drop into the butterfly. The cage window is cut wide for a clear look at the puck down around your feet.
Sizes run OSFM through M/L across the youth, junior and senior listings, in white, black or neon green depending on the listing. Fit the mask to the head it is going on now rather than sizing up for growth.
Suits youth and junior goalies in minor hockey, and recreational senior goalies who want a solid, straightforward mask.
Shell: Polycarbonate
Liner: Dual density VN foam
Chin cup: Strong chin cup
Sizes: OSFM, S/M, M/L
Colours: White, Black, Neon Green
Measure your head circumference about 1" above the eyebrows, keeping the tape level around the whole head, and match it to the chart on the listing. If you go by hat size, use a fitted hat that is neither tight nor loose. We do not size masks for growth: a loose mask protects worse, and the shell and foams open up over time on their own.
Four things to check once it is on. The top edge of the cage window sits about 1" above the eyebrows, with the sweatband flat on the forehead. The backplate hugs the back of the head without running past the edges of the shell. The chin cup is snug enough that the mask cannot ride up and down. The temples and cheeks are tight to the foam with no visible gaps.
Then grab the cage and shake it. If the head moves with the mask, the fit is right. Check the fit again every few months, since foams compress and harnesses stretch.
