The Vaughn Velocity V10 Pro Carbon Senior Goalie Blocker boasts a front board reinforced with Pure Carbon, enhancing precision in puck deflection. Its deep board top bend contributes to effective puck deflection, while the molded inner core foam board incorporates a 17MM thick HD foam layer for added rigidity. Comfort and protection are prioritized with a back hand cushion pad, and the palm features a design with an index and small finger trigger for improved grip and comfort.

The mesh palm gussets ensure ventilation, and a higher hand position extends net coverage, while further protection comes from finger protectors with HD foam and Carbon reinforcement. Additionally, the V10 Pro Carbon Blocker features double-layered protection for the side index finger and a large solid side shield with Carbon reinforcement. The palm design is optimized for dexterity and stick control, with Carbon molded thumb inserts and a side shield Carbon insert for increased impact resistance. The blocker is rounded off with a tapered bottom edge for a secure seal on the ice, Pro-spec domestic construction, and a floating cuff design that enhances wrist movement.

Goalie Blockers Sizing

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.

Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.

Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.

Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.

    Blocker Hands Simplified
  • Regular - Blocker worn on your Right Hand
  • Full Right - Blocker worn on your Left Hand
