The 2200 pro throat shield from Vaughn is designed with a wide profile chin and flare at the lower edge that allows the unit to fit tight to the upper chest; the additional width gives the goaltender a wider area of coverage to the neck. The 2200 is injection molded with a raised perimeter edge that provides added rigidity and stiffness for improved puck deflection. Lastly, the throat shield is molded in a tough Lexan polycarbonate material for shock resistance, maximum durability and visual clarity.
