The Tydan Mirror Lightspeed Edge replacement blade features a mirror finish to ensure the best steel. The stainless steel is specifically designed for Bauer holders, giving you a harder and tougher blade for your level of play.
The mirror finish on the steel polishes away any remaining microscopic imperfections found on the runner. Not only does the steel look great, but also doubles the longevity and performance of the edge. The heat-treatment process is the key to increasing Tydan steel's hardness and quality.
With the additional height added onto the steel runner, players will be able to make sharper turns and accelerate faster between strides. The extra height will also offer better attack angles, as well as stronger push offs as you begin to attack in full stride. Tydan uses imported 400-series, Swedish steel and laser-cuts the blades to style, type, and size.

To determine which steel size you need, start with your skate size. If your skate, for example, is a size 8, you will need a 271-8 (last number is for skate size). Half sizes will use a half size down in most cases, however when the skate is a half size and wide, the holder size will go up, so your steel should as well. A size 8.5 in a regular or tapered fit will use a 271-8, but an 8.5 wide would require 280-9 steel.
