The TRUE 7X4 Blocker is part of the HZRDUS 2024 goalie line. This blocker features many key pieces that make it stand alone in its class. With a bindingless 615 blocker board, deflecting pucks into the corner is much easier, and goalies have more control over their rebounds. It also has a SureGrip palm material, which can be found on most of TRUE's goalie gear, which provides goalies with durability and is built to last longer.
Palm Material
The HZRDUS 7X4 blocker features a unique inner palm. Combined with Nash fingers and TRUE's high tack, the SureGrip material can be seen over the center of the palm and index finger. Additionally, this more modern construction feels lighter and more nimble compared to the previous generation of TRUE blockers.
Finger Protection
To protect the fingers, we see the integration of a straight index protection. The finger protection runs with the blocker sidewall, protecting the fingers but not interfering with the stick usage. This not only allows goalies to feel protected from the toughest impacts but also allows them to play with more confidence.
Cuff Design
Redesigned for this blocker, the half-piece cuff improves response with a more direct connection between the palm and blocker board. Additionally, TRUE's half-piece cuff helps to reduce binding between the blocker cuff and chest protector sleeves, improving the range-of-motion in the wrist.
Internal Construction
The blocker board is made up of thick foam and has a 615-degree face edge. This new sidewall design, combined with a more aggressive angle, makes redirecting pucks easier and more accurate.

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.

Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
