TRUE continues on with the addition of the PX3 catcher. This glove features many different features that make it a solid, reliable, and durable catch glove for goalies. It has JenPro material which is TRUE's most reliable external material and can be found on nearly all of their goalie equipment. The unique 600 break angle provides goalies with the ability to trap pucks and hold onto rebounds easier.
External Material
TRUE used the traditional JenPro material on the outer construction of this catcher. This durable material provides the glove with a reliable and solid outer build, and it helps keep the catcher in shape for longer. JenPro is a trusted material and is found on nearly all of TRUE's goalie equipment because of its reliability, appearance, and overall performance that it provides.
Break Angle
The PX3 catcher features a 600 degree break angle, which helps goalies trap the puck better and hold onto rebounds, compared to letting them go. It is designed to have a more natural feel when you close your hand, but does require bending of the fingertips to met the thumb in order to close the glove.
Pocket Design
The pocket uses a double T design. The benefits of the double "T" include a wider pocket opening and improved puck tracking when looking through the pocket when freezing the puck.
Strapping
To adjust the catcher and ensure a fit that is tailored to your needs, the PX3 catcher features a velcro closure that is designed to loosen or tighten the catcher around your hand. By pulling the velcro onto the strip, goalies can rely on a snug fit while not worrying about the catcher falling off. This glove also has a pull strap that is easily adjustable. By simply pulling on the strap, the catcher will tighten and to release the tension, it has a buckle that when pulled, releases the strap and loosens the catcher.
Palm Material
The suregrip palm material comes with a game ready feel. This material offers goalies an enhanced feel, grip, and comfort when making glove saves. The comfortable and durable material is designed to last longer while holding the palm shape for longer periods of time.
Cuff Design
The floating cuff featured on the PX3 catcher is designed to provide goalies with an additional level of protection from pucks, sticks, and skates. It is built to protect goalies, while also providing mobility so that they are not feeling restricted.

Goalie Catcher Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Catcher is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Catcher provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Catcher Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Catcher size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Catcher Fit
It is important to make sure the palm lines up properly within the catching glove, so that it can be closed without excessive force. New goalie gloves will be difficult to close initially, but through either a standard break-in process, or "baking" the catcher with our in-house convection skate ovens, they will soften over time.
*We do not recommend using any conventional in-home ovens, as the results have been very unpredictable in the past and could damage your Catcher.*
Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector.
Sizing for Growing Goaltenders
For growing goaltenders we recommend following the guidelines set above, rather than sizing up to accommodate growth. Oversized goalie gloves restrict control, especially for young developing goalies. As you climb the size ladder for Catchers, typically the glove requires more strength for pocket closure.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Catcher can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
