TRUE continues to use their JenPro material because it has a solid reputation for being a dependable choice for creating the pads exterior. The choice to go with JenPro highlights its demonstrated performance and longevity, making it a reliable option for preserving the appearance and functioning of the pad. This material is highly valued for its resilience to abrasion, guaranteeing durability and strength across a range of circumstances.
Internal Construction
The core on the L87 leg pads feature a single break (below the knee). This provides unparalleled agility and flexibility with the single break core below the knee. This innovative design allows for quick movements, precise positioning, and lightning-fast reactions. It is also stiffer due to the reinforced composite thigh rise for a tight butterfly and RVH seal.
Pad Break
The Catalyst L87 leg pads feature a single outer roll break. This is a design where there is a break in the outer roll of the pad, typically below the knee. This allows goalies for increased flexibility and mobility, especially when the goalie is in the butterfly or other wide stance.
Boot Angle & Toe Taper
The regular boot angle offers a great balance between coverage and mobility. They sit higher on the skate, providing good coverage, while still allowing for some flex and toe drag. These pads are a common choice for goalies who want a traditional feel with good coverage and the ability to push off the post.
Calf Guard
