Intro & New Features

New for 2024, the Catalyst 7X4 Hockey Pants feature many of the same technologies and materials found in the Catalyst 9X4 model. This pant offers lightweight performance without compromising on protection. These pants are ideal for serious players looking to take their game to the next level with ultimate fit, comfort, and protection in a pro looking design.

External Material

The outer shell is a premium hybrid PE/mesh based shell. It features premium material which make the 7X4 pants more durable and provide players with more flexibility and breathability while on the ice.

Thigh Protection

The revolutionary iBP 3D injected technology protects the thighs. In addition to offering players elite-level protection, the co-molded polypropylene and EPP hybrid protection in the thigh area also helps to keep the trousers lightweight and secure while enabling players to move freely.

Hip Protection

Just like the thighs, an iBP 3D injected technology design protects the hips. To keep the hips safe and secure during impacts, it has co-molded polypropylene and EPP hybrid protection. These trousers' construction and design not only lower the total weight of the garments but also offer athletes elite-level hip protection.

Spine Protection

The revolutionary iBP 3D injected frame technology protects the lower section of the spine. Because of its design, the spine can be shielded and covered with sturdy materials. Players can continue playing since the hybrid polypropylene and EVA protection shields, covers, and secures the spine from blows.

Kidney Protection

The kidneys are comparable in structure to the spine and share a similar protective role. The iBP 3D injected frame technology helps players stay protected while skating. Athletes are protected from collisions by the stiff frame's distribution of impact energy, which is absorbed by the base foam, while their kidneys are kept safe and secure by the hybrid polypropylene and EVA protection.

Belt & Lace Closure

To make adjustments, TRUE included a zippered extension mechanism that lets the player lengthen the 7X4" pants by an extra 2". This is beneficial for athletes who might be in the middle of a size range or who go through a mid-season growth spurt. Additionally, these hockey pants have an inner belt design that can be tightened and altered using the skate lace closure visible on the exterior.

Leg Zippers

If the player wants a looser fit in the thighs, they can use the enclosed zipper opening on the inside legs of the 7X4 hockey trousers. For those who prefer to put on their skates before their trousers when getting dressed, these also make it simpler to put on the pants.
