As far as retail gear goes, Hockey Shop can’t be beat. Great selection in stock and knowledgeable staff, who are particularly helpful with skate fittings. Team Sales is where Hockey Shop really shines. I’ve dealt with Emma in that section for custom gear with multiple teams. She responds fast, gets things done even faster and every order is perfect, whether it’s for one jersey or swag for an entire team. Call Team Sales and ask for Emma if you needs things done right. Highly recommended!

Place is great. Drove up from Washington for better selection and was blown away. Was looking for new skates and Trevor was incredibly helpful. Spent almost two hours rolling through all the different pros and cons, answering my dumb questions along the way. Will absolutely be back whenever I need gear.

The customer service here was simply amazing! I ordered rollerblades for my son’s birthday as a last-minute gift and accidentally ordered the wrong size. I called and spoke with Mitchell, who was absolutely wonderful to deal with. He was able to change my order while I was on the phone, helped me arrange express shipping, and got them shipped out right away. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed they arrive in time, but the level of service I received was above and beyond what I expected. If you’re in Langley, I highly recommend shopping here. And if you’re ordering online, I 1000% recommend them. The customer service was exceptional, and Mitchell went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. I went to the Hockey Shop to order a custom goalie set and I can't say enough about my experience with Androo. I had a very particular idea about what I wanted and Androo took the time to go over every option on each piece of equipment while offering his own experiences and opinions, which was a huge help. We ended up exchanging three dozen emails over two months nailing down every little last detail. Every question was promptly answered and if he didn't know, he contacted the company directly to find out. Androo was super chill yet extremely professional and patient. He shared the same enthusiasm about goalie gear so it felt like I was talking to a buddy. I picked up my set today and it came out perfect! Thanks again, Androo!

Great staff and selection, a must stop if you're shopping for hockey gear

I came in on two consecutive weekends, and I can confidently say that The Hockey Shop offers some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a retail store. I was looking for a full set of gear, and the staff member assisting me was patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly not pushy. A lot of stores tend to upsell or suggest pricier gear that might not be necessary, but I never felt that pressure here. It felt like they were more interested in getting me into the right gear rather than the most expensive gear. On my second visit, Brennan in the skate section helped me out and honestly, you guys need to give him a raise! His customer service was top-notch. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the process feel really personal by taking my foot shape and fit preferences into account. He even tossed in some extra laces on the house. Overall, THS is easily one of the best hockey shops in the Lower Mainland when it comes to selection and customer service. The only feedback I have is about the weekday hours—it can be tough to grab last-minute gear before a late evening game. Staying open until 6:30 or 7:00 PM on weekdays would be a huge help, though I totally understand the logistical challenges that might come with that.

I live 4000 kilometres away but have bought more goalie equipment at the Hockey Shop than any local store here in Ontario over the last couple of years because of their excellent pricing, selection, and customer service/ delivery options. Thanks!
