The Sherwood Rekker SWD Womens Hockey Pants are a hockey pant that is specifically designed for Women. These pants have an anatomical fit, which is more tapered, and a belt/lace closure to help players achieve a fit that is more tailored to their needs. These pants come with high-quality foam to provide protection without sacrificing mobility.
External Material
The external shell of the Rekker SWD hockey pants are made up of 840D nylon, which is the same material seen on many other high-end hockey pants. This grade of Nylon is highly abrasion-resistant and one of the toughest fabric-weave combinations available. It is also very light for its efficiency and durability.
Thigh Protection
Throughout the thighs, Sherwood added large foam pads to keep players protected from impacts. The AIZ (Anatomical Isolated Zones) provide players with a combination of mobility and 360-degree protection, so that they can move without restrictions and a constant level of protection.
Hip & Kidney Protection
The hip and kidney areas feature foam padding to protect players from impacts. The CIP (Customizable Impact Protection) provides players with a customizable, adaptable fit, and protection level. This allows players to change the level of padding to achieve a feel that is tailored to their needs. These pants also feature an option for players to have an extra two inches in length if they prefer.
Spine Protection
The spine and tailbone are protected using Viconic padding. Viconic is an ultra-resilient material that is designed for repeat impacts. It is also lightweight, which allows players to move freely while on the ice without any restrictions.
Liner
The inside of the pants are lined with a COP-r29 permanent anti-bacterial liner. This lining material is designed to scientifically reduce bacteria and microbe causing odors. This liner is also designed to absorb moisture and provide a fresh and dry feeling during games.
Belt/Lace Closure
The Rekker SWD hockey pants can be adjusted using the wrap-around belt and skate lace system. The belt can be tightened and held and a fit that is tailored to the player, and the buckle system will release tension when pulled on. The skate lace helps hold the pants in place when tied together.
