The Bauer Team Midweight Jacket is the layer you reach for when the rink is cold but a winter coat is too much. It is built on a tapered hockey fit, so it follows the shoulders and chest instead of carrying the extra fabric a standard jacket does. Teams order it as a bench and travel jacket, and plenty of people just wear it as their shoulder-season coat.
Bauer's logo is screen printed on the sleeve and shoulder, with the Bauer icon on the back neck. That leaves the chest and the back clear, which is exactly why it works as a team piece: there is room for a crest and a name without fighting the stock graphics.
Two zippered front pockets take the usual pocket load, and a second zip pocket inside the chest holds a phone or a wallet you would rather not have in an outside pocket. Mesh venting across the back shoulders moves air once you warm up, and the sleeve cuffs adjust, so you can close them over gloves or open them out.
It comes in senior and youth, in black and navy. Both run the same tapered hockey fit, so size up if you want room for a hoody underneath.
