The DOM Practice Turbo Ringette Ring is a smaller training ring, not the ring a game is played with. The idea is simple: a tighter target is harder to pick up, pass and shoot cleanly, so the hands built on the small ring make the full-size one feel easy when a player goes back to it.
It measures 2" in diameter and slides with ease, so passes still move at a realistic speed instead of dragging and dying halfway. It has been safely tested, which matters when it is being used by kids working on their own as much as in a coached session. Coaches reach for these for pick-up and passing drills; parents buy one to live in the bag.
Offered in orange, pink, blue and yellow, which helps when more than one ring is out on the ice at once. It suits ringette players at any level who want to sharpen their hands, and coaches who want a drill ring that makes game rings feel generous.

Used
The ring arrived promptly which was good. The problem was, the entire ring was scuffed and actually dirty on the bottom with scrapes, as though someone had used it prior to me receiving it. I had to use a brush and scrub it down completely to gets the marks off as it is a gift. It should have arrived in pristine condition.
Very disappointing.

These rings work great indoors as mini stick rings. My kids are loving them in our basement.
