Holder compatibility matters more here than anything else: this blade is cut for SB 4.0 and will not seat in a newer XS holder, so check which holder is on your skate first. Buy it when the 4.0 steel in your skates is worn, pitted or sharpened down past the point a shop can bring an edge back.

Steel size follows the holder, not your foot. The options run 255-6 through 287-10, and the second number is the skate size that runner pairs with. A size 8 skate takes 271-8. Half sizes normally drop to the size below, but a half size in a wide fit goes up, so an 8.5 wide takes 280-9. Check the stamp on your current runner, or bring the skates in and we will read it.
