The widesew leg pad strap is a replacement strap, and can be applied to any leg pad. Using tabs located on the landing side of any pad, goaltenders simply have to pull the widesew strap through to replace their broken or worn out strap. Although it is not a common method of replacement, these straps can also be sewn into leg pads to act as a permanent replacement.
