The CCM Tacks XR Ghost hockey gloves are designed to meet the intensity of the game. Balancing protection, mobility and feel in one uncompromising package. From the reinforced backhand pad to the responsive palm, every detail is crafted to keep your hands safe, your grip strong, and your game sharp.
Construction
These gloves are constructed with a Max Protection ASD (Anatomical Shield Design), which is combined with Nest-Tech Ventilated Backhand Pad. This combination of protection is designed to offer elite protection that also offers great ventilation. The highly mobile and roomy design paired with great tech is made to keep your hands comfortable and ready for whatever the game brings next.
Finger Design & Protection
CCM designed the fingers on this glove to be highly protective while still allowing the players to have unrestricted movements. The gloves feature D30 in the knuckle and finger tip blocks, with hybrid Nash finger tips that are designed to keep those areas covered while on the ice. These gloves also have a three-piece index and ring finger design that provides enhanced protection where it matters most, while delivering optimal freedom of movement.
Backhand Design
The backhand on these gloves feature a stiff, low profile integrated impact protection plate that is made up of injected high grade polyethylene plastic. This provides pro-level impact protection on the back of the hand to protect against the hardest of shots. CCM also integrated a Nest-Tech 3D printed pad that is designed to enhance airflow throughout the game.
Thumb Design
The Tacks XR Ghost gloves feature an elite flex thumb with a direct-drive thumb sleeve. This 2-piece flexible thumb combined with a unique direct-drive sleeve is designed to deliver better mobility and an incredible grip on your stick.
Palm Material
The palm on this glove is constructed with CCM’s Sensalast Pro Palm with an embossed reinforcement. The palm is treated with polygiene odorcrunch, which is designed to wick away moisture and absorb sweat. This palm has a pro-inspired feel with ultimate comfort and a ventilation window to provide an optimal interaction with your stick.
Cuff
CCM designed this glove with a Max Flex cuff. The flexmotion design allows for unrestricted wrist movements, flexibility, and protection. This allows the padding to stay in place, while the wrist can move so players are protected from impacts at all times.
Liner
The inside of the glove is lined with a polygiene liner with odorcrunch treated lining and comfort foams. This provides the glove with a soft and comfortable foam with enhanced antibacterial properties and odor fighting treatments to help keep your gloves feeling fresh throughout the game. The liner also features a sublimated inside lining, a superior quality that feels great and helps you stay dry.
Sizes & Colors
The CCM Tacks XR Ghost Senior Hockey Gloves come in sizes 13”, 14”, and 15”. Additionally, they also come in Black and Navy.

Player Glove Sizing
To ensure you're purchasing the proper sized glove, one simple measurement using a measuring tape is all it takes to accurately find your size. Place the tip of the tape measure at the top of your middle finger (or which finger is longest) and measure all the way down to the bottom of your palm. Record this measurement and multiply by two. This will be roughly the size of glove you need. Compare your height, weight and age to the charts provided on each model as well to find your best fit.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Growing Players)
If you are including growing room in the glove for a young player, always round the measurement up to the next whole number (ex. 3.2” x 2 = 6.4” -> 7”).
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Growing Players)
To ensure hockey gloves fit properly for a growing hockey player, have them place their hands in the glove with their palms facing up. Have the player place their hand inside the glove as they would if they were wearing the glove in a normal situation. Take your index finger and put it between the top of the player's palm and the edge of the cuff. Typically you want no more room than the width of your index finger.
You also want to have the player press their fingers against the palm so you can see the outlines. Make sure their pinky finger is at least 3/4” of the way into the pinky slot of the glove finger. To determine if the glove is too small, take your fingers and feel along the inner cuff of the glove just after the palm material. Make sure the player’s palm is not spilling over the material and onto the cuff. You also want to look at the fingers of the glove, and make sure the player’s fingers to fit in each finger slot, but they should not be pressed up against the edge or touching the gussets.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Full-Grown Players)
When sizing for true size (no growth room) using the above measurement, round measurements less than 0.5 down to the next whole number. If the measurement ends in .5 or higher, round up to the nearest whole number.
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Full-Grown Players)
To ensure your hockey gloves fit properly, you want to take a look at two things.
