The CCM Tacks Vector Junior Skates pack a lot of punch at an entry level price point. The Vector's will use MetaFrame technology with a synthetic composite material to provide a stiff quarter package. This will build of off the anatomical fit the Tacks line provides with improvements to the boot shaping system for the best fit possible.
The Tacks Vector will use the same Concave Reinforced TPU outsole found on the 9070 skate, for a rigid design that helps with energy transfer. This is combined with an exhaust system to keep you skates light and dry. The exterior also features durability upgrades such as shiny eyelet facings and a brass top eyelet for longevity.
One of the biggest upgrades we've made to the Vector was including the same comfort pads found in CCM's elite skates. These Smooth Contour pads provide padding around the collar of the boot for excellent foot and ankle comfort.
The tongue on the CCM Tacks Vector is taken from the AS1 skate, which uses a Tri-Tech 10mm white felt tongue with molded lace-bite protector for advanced protection, comfort, and forward flex. Moving down the boot, a SpeedBlade holder provides 4mm of extra height from the ice to allow for up to 10% greater turning radius for a more aggressive angle of attack and the SpeedBlade Stainless runner steel resists oxidation and rusting.
