Engineered for elite performance, the 2026 Tacks Pro blocker delivers unmatched control, comfort, and responsiveness. Whether you’re steering pucks away with power and pinpoint accuracy or transitioning into a crisp breakout pass, you’ll have the perfect weapon to perform at your best every moment of the game.
Blocking Board
The blocker board is made using LiteXcore material. The lightweight balance with a molded core is designed for extremely powerful rebounds off the blocker face.
Palm Design
The Tacks Pro blocker features a Hexa+ Palm design. The soft, textured feel provides optimal control and comfort with the added durability of the Pro Nash base. The palm also includes added vent channels along the side to increase breathability. The centered palm position provides goalies with a balanced feel with optimal coverage.
Side Wall Protection
The molded x-stiff sidewall with straight finger protection is designed for added strength with enhanced mobility, coverage, and protection. The x-stiff sidewall is built to keep impacts away, allowing for goalies to focus on their game.
Finger Protection
To protect the fingers, CCM designed the finger protection on this blocker with a HD finger wrap that has D30 index finger protection. The ergonomic design allows for increased coverage and added mobility with maximum impact protection.
Cuff Design
The cuff incorporates the innovative flexmotion cuff design, characterized by its strategic segmentation and adjustable features, facilitating an expanded range of motion. The cuff also features Neoprene comfort lining in the wrist opening to provide goalies with an additional layer of comfort while wearing this blocker.
Sizing & Colors
The CCM Tacks Pro Senior Goalie Blocker comes in a regular and full-right option. Full-right is designed for those goalies who use their blocker on their left hand. Additionally, this blocker is offered in Black, White, and White/Black/Silver.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
- Blocker Hands Simplified
- Regular - Blocker worn on your Right Hand
- Full Right - Blocker worn on your Left Hand
