The new Super Tacks AS1 glove represents CCM’s next evolution in protection and feel. Built off of the strong foundation set by the Super Tacks glove – an anatomical, close-to-the-hand fit that gives the maximum amount of control and protection to the player. The fit through the fingers remains the same, but now has a new 3-piece segmented cuff so it both hugs the player’s hand for protection while and provides instantly noticeable mobility.
Palm Material
Drawing from NHL Pro feedback, the Super Tacks glove now features a Pro-style Clarino palm, favored by the large majority of NHL players, with palm reinforcement and additional embossed overlay in the high wear area of the palm, extending the durability of the glove while also giving a nice feel through the material.
Gussets
Stretch nylon finger gussets provide a flexible but responsive feel. Another benefit to this style of gussets is that it allows your hand to breathe during play while allowing quicker drying times between ice-times.
Finger Protection & Side Pinky Protection
Pro level PE Foams with PE inserts and D30 smart material instantly provides some of the best protection in the game while keeping true to their lightweight roots. With the additional 3-piece side pinky protection, the AS1 glove offers pro level safety just as the game starts to heat up.
Backhand Protection
A noteworthy feature of the Super Tacks AS1 glove is the extensive use of D3O smart material throughout the glove. Paired with pro-level PE foam and inserts, the AS1 glove possesses a highly durable and lightweight protection package, suitable for high level players with shot-blocking and physical play as part of their game.
Thumb Design
CCM continues to feature their 2-piece flexible thumb on the AS1 Super Tacks glove. This design allows for a great range of motion and provides nice stickhandling control.
Liner
A glove’s liner can make or break the feel of a glove. CCM has done a really nice job of creating a silky soft and comfortable feeling liner that’s also anti-microbrial. Treated with Polygiene, this liner helps fight bacteria that causes odor.
Cuff
The newly designed segmented FlexCuff provides the largest range of movement yet while little details like raised embroidery on the cuff keep you looking like a pro.

Player Glove Sizing
To ensure you're purchasing the proper sized glove, one simple measurement using a measuring tape is all it takes to accurately find your size. Place the tip of the tape measure at the top of your middle finger (or which finger is longest) and measure all the way down to the bottom of your palm. Record this measurement and multiply by two. This will be roughly the size of glove you need. Compare your height, weight and age to the charts provided on each model as well to find your best fit.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Growing Players)
If you are including growing room in the glove for a young player, always round the measurement up to the next whole number (ex. 3.2” x 2 = 6.4” -> 7”).
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Growing Players)
To ensure hockey gloves fit properly for a growing hockey player, have them place their hands in the glove with their palms facing up. Have the player place their hand inside the glove as they would if they were wearing the glove in a normal situation. Take your index finger and put it between the top of the player's palm and the edge of the cuff. Typically you want no more room than the width of your index finger.
You also want to have the player press their fingers against the palm so you can see the outlines. Make sure their pinky finger is at least 3/4” of the way into the pinky slot of the glove finger. To determine if the glove is too small, take your fingers and feel along the inner cuff of the glove just after the palm material. Make sure the player’s palm is not spilling over the material and onto the cuff. You also want to look at the fingers of the glove, and make sure the player’s fingers to fit in each finger slot, but they should not be pressed up against the edge or touching the gussets.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Full-Grown Players)
When sizing for true size (no growth room) using the above measurement, round measurements less than 0.5 down to the next whole number. If the measurement ends in .5 or higher, round up to the nearest whole number.
