Serving players since 1988.Intro & New Features
New for the 2026 CCM protective line is the addition of the JOFA hockey shoulder pads. With a heritage deeply rooted in Sweden, the legacy is inseparable from the natural beauty and cultural richness of Dalarna, the region where JOFA was born. Dalarna embodies the spirit of Swedish craftsmanship and outdoor life, and the JOFA protective line pays tribute to its history.
Construction
The shoulder pads feature a Max Coverage Anatomical Shield Design with an amplified mobility design and molded Zotefoam. The shoulders feature maximum protection with compress-molded Zotefoam side panels along with front/back air channels. This piece is optimized to protect elite players, and provide great ventilation to help cool the body throughout the game. The decoupled back panel allows for increased mobility and range of motion.
Shoulder Caps
The shoulder caps are protected with Flexmotion dual core HD foam caps with exposed foam covers. This provides enhanced pro-level protection that is further enhanced to help absorb and distribute the toughest impacts and increase mobility from all angles with the new low profile cap construction.
Bicep Protection
The biceps are protected with HD molded foam guards that have large ventilation ports and an Aer-Tec suspension system. The lightweight custom comfort fit is equipped with a maximum level of protection and elite ventilation in the biceps for cooling to help keep your body dry. The newly designed assembly is designed to provide seamless interaction between the biceps and shoulder caps.
Sternum & Spine Protection
CCM designed the shoulder pads with a floating sternum and spine with hybrid shields with D30 throughout. The floating sternum provides elite mobility and comfort while the compress molded HD foams with D30 at the sternum and back spine offers maximum protection.
Liner
The inside of the shoulder pads are lined with a sweat repellant Zotefoam liner. This unique foam only design allows the closed cell Zotefoam to do its job by absorbing sweat, while the innovative air channels in the front and back provide pro-level airflow.
Clavicle
The clavicle area on these shoulder pads feature floating clavicle protection with PE plastic guards. It features integrated D30 that disperses impact energy away from the clavicle and protects players from the worst of impacts.
Torso & Adjustment
Throughout the shoulder pads, the JOFA’s feature an added air channel with ADPTFIT length adjustable straps. This provides elite ventilation with air channels inside the liner to promote better airflow. The shoulder pads also include length-adjustable torso straps to facilitate finding the ideal fit and feel.

Player Shoulder Pad Sizing
Sizing before Purchase
To fit for a properly sized shoulder pad, you will need a soft tape measurer to measure and record your chest measurement. To do this, find the widest point of your chest (usually just below your armpits) and measure the circumference. Record the measurement in inches and compare to the available sizing charts in each brand. Also compare your height, weight and age to find your best fit.
Sizing after Purchase
Once you have received your new shoulder pad, stand in front of a mirror and strap them on. You will want to check the follow criteria to ensure a proper and protective fit.
1. The tips of your shoulder are sitting directly under the middle of the shoulder cap. If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap.
- This is important because if the shoulder cap does not sit in the correct position, your clavicles, shoulders, and upper arms can become more susceptible to injury.
- Adjust the bicep guards using the Velcro straps located underneath the shoulder caps (if applicable). At the highest point, the bicep guards should not be more than halfway down the upper arm. This is important because they can interfere with your elbow pads, throwing off the fit.
If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap and not directly in line with the middle.
