Intro & New Features
CCM’s next shift in focus for 2023 is in the new Jetspeed FT6 line. The Jetspeed FT6 gear puts emphasis on breathability and mobility, which means much of the new tech found in the gear will be light, discreet, and designed to keep you cool. The FT6 hockey pants feature an Aer-Tec Thermoregulation System, Dryfoam technology, and an injection-molded hybrid spine shield.
External Materials
The pants have been crafted with 400D nylon with a 400D textured nylon side panel and boast a pro-cut 1" length at the back of the legs. Additionally, the repositioned inner leg zipper and pro-cut 1" length at the back aid in reducing friction while performing crossovers, with a design specifically to enhance both the pants’ durability and airflow.
Thigh Protection
Employing a combination of lightweight foam with molded PE plastic shields over top, these pants are ready to deliver elite-level protection on the ice, allowing you to get in the way of the pucks and battle in the boards without worry. Moreover, the thigh guards and inner leg zipper facilitate enhanced flexibility and a better custom fit.
Hip Protection
The gear is made with molded PE caps with a vented foam base, which has been adjusted to contour around your hips and kidneys, enhancing comfort. For that pro-level protection you can expect from CCM’s high-end hockey pants, the sides have been reinforced with molded PE plastic shields. The vented foam base is designed to allow for more aeration, keeping you cool while you play.
Spine Protection
For protection in the spine area, the FT6 employs a molded hybrid spine shield coupled with HD foam. The shield itself includes a ventilation exhaust system for breathability, and the tailbone is segmented to provide max extra mobility.
Belt/Lace Closure
The pants are equipped with a built-in, internal, anti-twist belt system, a wide front opening, and stretchy functional panels to make it as easy as ever to fit them to your size and lock them in place.
Leg Zippers
For further adjustment and customization, the pants have a hidden 1” zipper on the inside and another repositioned zipper along the leg.
Sizes & Colors
The Jetspeed FT6 Senior hockey pants come in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and XLarge in the following colourways: Black, Navy, and Red.

Goalie Pants Sizing Information
Goalie Pants offer substantially more protection than their player counterparts. The hips are reinforced with high-density foam instead of a thin layer of nylon/elastic. The thighs of a goalie pants are usually squared off for coverage purposes and made with thick plastic and foam. The waist of a goal pant is also beefed up to protect vital organs. Even the way a goalie pant moves in relation to a player pant is even different. Hockey Player Pants are designed to move back and forth, while Goalie Pants are more effective for lateral movements that a goalie naturally has to make.
Why Proper Sizing Is Important
Properly sized Goalie Pants are imperative to make sure all of your goaltending equipment fits together seamlessly. An improperly fit goalie pant can cause your chest protector to ride up and feel uncomfortable. When a goal pant is fit properly, it integrates well with the fit of your chest protector to provide unrestricted movement and full protection.
Finding the Right Sized Goalie Pants
The first step is to take measurements that relate to the provided sizing charts on any individual goal pant’s product page on our website. Usually this is accomplished by matching a waist to a given size. Matching up waist sizes exactly isn’t always necessary as it is very common for goalies to wear pants that are wider to increase net coverage, mobility and comfort. Some goalies also prefer a looser fit around the waist and use suspenders to keep their pants from falling down.
Fitting Your Goalie Pants
After figuring how you want to wear the pants around your waist, it is important that the pant is sized such that they sit above the kneecap. This should leave enough room for the knee wing of the leg pad to rest on the inside edge of the knee. Pants that sit too low can interfere with the goalie leg pads. You also want to try your goalie pants on with your chest protector to see how the two pieces of equipment integrate with each other for mobility, and to make sure their are no gaps in protection. Lastly, make sure your goalie pants integrate well with additional knee protection. We strongly recommend trying everything on at once to make sure there is limited interference between all your goalie equipment.
