The CCM Jetspeed Control Senior Shoulder pad was developed to be extremely lightweight and improve on its predecessor, the CCM QuickLite line. The new construction focuses on freedom of movement, without sacrificing protection.
This years Control will feature a vented polyurethane foam torso with added foam inserts for maximum protection.
The Sternum and Spine on the Control will be consisting of a polyurethane cap combined with EVA Foam. This all comes together in a sleek design topped with a chrome CCM logo.
The Jetspeed Control will also be upgraded to a molded bicep cap with length adjustment for a customizable fit. This is complimented with floating clavicle protectors for an elite level feeling shoulder pad at a very competitive price point.
This all comes together with a red sublimated liner and a removable belly pad.
The CCM Jetspeed Control Shoulder Pads are a Source Exclusive model based on the Jetspeed 370 with performance upgrades from the Jetspeed 390. The Control keeps true to the lightweight equipment we have come accustomed to from the Jetspeed line.

Sizing before Purchase
To fit for a properly sized shoulder pad, you will need a soft tape measurer to measure and record your chest measurement. To do this, find the widest point of your chest (usually just below your armpits) and measure the circumference. Record the measurement in inches and compare to the available sizing charts in each brand. Also compare your height, weight and age to find your best fit.
Sizing after Purchase
Once you have received your new shoulder pad, stand in front of a mirror and strap them on. You will want to check the follow criteria to ensure a proper and protective fit.
1. The tips of your shoulder are sitting directly under the middle of the shoulder cap. If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap.
- This is important because if the shoulder cap does not sit in the correct position, your clavicles, shoulders, and upper arms can become more susceptible to injury.
- Adjust the bicep guards using the Velcro straps located underneath the shoulder caps (if applicable). At the highest point, the bicep guards should not be more than halfway down the upper arm. This is important because they can interfere with your elbow pads, throwing off the fit.
If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap and not directly in line with the middle.
