First go to CCM website, and pull up their Goalie Customizer and click the link to customize the CCM EFlex 5 Series, and set your region to Canada/USA. Link to CCM Customizer.
From there the customizer will give you the option to customize your CCM Extreme Flex 5 Goalie Leg Pads, Catcher and/or Blocker. You are able to customize any combination of these 3 goalie items. If you have an existing design, you can enter your reference number to pull up your previous design.
You will then be brought to the page shown below. CCM gives you an extensive list of zones, colors, and materials to decorate your custom goalie blocker with. This is where you're able to put your personality on the pads, and come up with the perfect set for you.
Customize your Specs
Once you have designed the goalie glove, click “NEXT” and the list of specs you are able to customize will show up. We have provided a detailed list of each spec offering under our SPEC tab on this page for you to review and understand. If you are unsure about the differences or which option may be best for you, feel free to give us a call and we’ll help explain the differences and hopefully point you in the right direction.
Finalize your Custom Design
Once you’re done designing your blocker, and setting up your custom specs, hit the green button up top that says "Finalize". You will be taken to a page showing you your reference number, and a preview of the gear you designed.
Under “Submit Your Design”, you will fill in your personal contact information. Under the "Store Locator", enter “The Hockey Shop” where it asks you for the store name. Click the blue button under THE HOCKEY SHOP (SDC) (SOURCE FOR SPORTS SURREY) to "Submit order to this store"
Follow-up from The Hockey Shop
Once you submit this order, CCM's website will show you the below "Success!" message. CCM will send us an email with all of your design and spec information, and you will receive a follow up phone call from one of our goalie specialists confirming the details of your custom goalie equipment. We may also offer some suggestions where we see fit based on the setup of specs you have chosen.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
- Blocker Hands Simplified
- Regular - Blocker worn on your Right Hand
- Full Right - Blocker worn on your Left Hand
