External Material
The ICONIK 2 catcher uses JenPro synthetic leather across the exterior — the same pro-level material featured across all of Brian’s elite gear. This finish provides long-lasting durability and that classic Brian’s look and feel.
Break Angle
The 35-degree break angle remains a staple in the ICONIK lineup, offering a natural hand position that feels like a blend between traditional 590 and 600 breaks. The break is laced-in rather than stitched, helping the catcher maintain its shape and consistent closure over time. This angle provides a smooth, consistent closure while maintaining excellent puck control, making it versatile for goalies across all styles. Goalies who prefer a catcher with a 35-degree break angle often find it offers a comfortable and versatile option for snagging shots.
Pocket Design
The Double-T pocket on the ICONIK 2 is engineered to stay open and visually large, increasing puck-catching surface area and reducing pop-outs. This wider presentation allows for easier tracking and trapping of shots. The catcher comes stock with a Game Ready palm, offering balanced protection and an easy closure from day one. For goalies who prefer extra padding, Pro and Practice palm options are available through Brian’s Customizer.
Strapping
New to the ICONIK 2 is Brian’s Smart Dial System, allowing goalies to fine-tune their fit quickly and precisely. The twist-to-tighten design offers micro-adjustments at both the wrist and backhand, ensuring a secure and consistent feel throughout the game. To loosen, simply pop the dials upward. This updated system replaces traditional pull straps, simplifying the adjustment process while maintaining a custom, locked-in fit.
Cuff Design
The ICONIK 2 features a BRI-FUSE Multi-Density Thermo Reinforced one-piece cuff, providing enhanced rigidity and protection while improving rebound control. This design gives the catcher a solid, connected feel when absorbing shots. The segmented backhand increases mobility and closure responsiveness, while high-density foam inserts along the fingers and backhand offer improved slash and impact protection.
Colors & Customization
The ICONIK 2 Senior Catcher is available in White, White/Black, and Tan/Chocolate/White colourways. The ICONIK 2 catcher is also available in both regular and full right options.
Through Brian’s online Customizer, goalies can personalize their gear, including colours, palm sizing, and additional padding, or design a completely custom look to match their full setup.

Goalie Catcher Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Catcher is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Catcher provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Catcher Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Catcher size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Catcher Fit
It is important to make sure the palm lines up properly within the catching glove, so that it can be closed without excessive force. New goalie gloves will be difficult to close initially, but through either a standard break-in process, or "baking" the catcher with our in-house convection skate ovens, they will soften over time.
*We do not recommend using any conventional in-home ovens, as the results have been very unpredictable in the past and could damage your Catcher.*
Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector.
Sizing for Growing Goaltenders
For growing goaltenders we recommend following the guidelines set above, rather than sizing up to accommodate growth. Oversized goalie gloves restrict control, especially for young developing goalies. As you climb the size ladder for Catchers, typically the glove requires more strength for pocket closure.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Catcher can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
