Intro & New Features
Building on the original ICONIK design, the ICONIK 2 introduces subtle but effective upgrades including a thinner BRI-FUSE reinforced blocker board and refined sidewall shaping to improve feel, control, and durability while maintaining that signature Brian’s Canadian craftsmanship and performance.
External Material
The ICONIK 2 blocker is made with a traditional JenPro external material, which can be found on nearly all Brian’s goalie equipment.
Internal Construction
Brian’s has refined the internal structure of the ICONIK 2 with their BRI-FUSE Multi-Density Thermo Reinforced construction, replacing the previous Bri-Core design. This new build reduces overall thickness and weight while enhancing rigidity and rebound control, giving goalies a more connected feel with every deflection.
The flared upper board promotes directional rebound control, guiding pucks downward and away from the crease. Its squared, balanced shape maintains consistent thickness from edge to edge, helping goalies track and angle saves with greater precision and stability.
Palm Material
The ICONIK 2 retains a Nash palm for superior comfort, grip, and moisture control. This classic material gives goalies a natural connection to their stick while maintaining durability through repeated play.
Side Hand Protection
The high-density sidewall has been refined with a redesigned thumb opening to reduce interference and restriction when gripping the stick. A reinforced patch increases durability in high-wear zones, while the internally laced, ultra-rigid sidewall continues to provide strong protection against hard shots. A removable thumb pillow, secured with Velcro between the thumb and palm, offers customizable comfort and additional impact protection where you need it most.
Cuff
The one-piece, bindingless cuff offers a clean, open design for maximum wrist mobility and a modern aesthetic. Combined with the floating Hex-Air cuff, this design gives goalies unrestricted movement when reaching or deflecting, helping them react quickly to any shot angle. The ICONIK 2 blocker features Brian's Smart Dial fit system, which provides a secure, consistent feel through precise micro-adjustments. The twist-and-pop mechanism allows goalies to easily fine-tune their hand placement for optimal comfort and control throughout the game.

The ICONIK 2 continues to feature padded fixed fingers for dependable coverage and stability, especially in paddle-down or tight-in situations. The deep thumb notch design reduces restriction while maintaining secure stick control, and the reinforced thumb opening enhances comfort and responsiveness without sacrificing protection.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
