Intro & New Features
Introducing the Brian’s ICONIK X2 Goalie Blocker, crafted for the mobile goaltender. This goalie blocker combines much of Brian’s best tech into a single package to deliver top-tier protection and agility.
External Material
The ICONIK X2 blocker is made with traditional JenPro external material, which can be found on nearly all Brian’s goalie equipment.
Internal Construction
This blocker features a lightweight, balanced, and thin-profile design that is designed to increase hand speed, improve balance, and provide active, powerful rebounds. This blocker also incorporates a squared blocker board design to enhance control over rebounds. The redesigned squared blocker board showcases a thinned profile and promotes a neutral hand position, ensuring optimal maneuverability for goalies.
Cuff Design
The low and wide cuff opening is a key design that increases wrist mobility, while producing an additional level of protection from pucks, sticks, and skates. It is built to protect goalies, while also providing mobility so that they are not feeling restricted.
Side Hand Protection
The side of the hand is protected with high-density sidewalls with thumb protection. This design can be seen on a wide variety of goalie blockers, and is designed to maximize protection against high-velocity shots while improving stick control. The bindingless design allows for better interaction with the stick while playing the puck.
Strapping System
The traditional strapping system features a series of adjustable straps and fasteners that can be configured to achieve the desired level of support, mobility, and comfort.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you? The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need? Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
Blocker Hands Simplified
Regular - Blocker worn on your Right Hand
Full Right - Blocker worn on your Left Hand
