The Brian's G-NETik V Senior Goalie Blocker incorporates Brian’s new carbon composite Bri-Core to improve rebound explosivity, stiffness, and rigidity. Along with the new graphic, Brian’s continues to use the BOA system to ensure a tight and effective adjustment system. The G-NETik series stands out in its versatility, making it an ideal set for hybrid-style goalies.

Cuff
The G-NETik V utilizes a low and open cuff made of Airknit material to allow for enhanced mobility. It also acts as a good cushion on impact, and it is breathable.

Internal Construction
The G-NETik V blocker’s internal construction uses Bri-Core tri-axle carbon-fibre composite to add stiffness without adding weight. This is a new innovation from Brian’s for the 2021 season, and you’ll find its extra durability and rigidity across the entire G-NETik V line.

Palm Material
The palm of the G-NETik V blocker is made up of a nash material to allow for good comfort and grip. The nash palm is a classic option used across all equipment, and it will help you hold onto the stick well. The backhand in between the palm and board is reinforced with a thicker cushion for better protection on impact. The blocker also has a detachable thumb pillow between the thumb and palm, fastened with velcro.

External Material
The G-NETik V Blocker allows for many different customizationable materials such as clarino, clarino, weave, and primo. There is also the nash palm, which has good gripping properties on the external portion of the blocker. The blocker also employs the use of a BOA strapping system, which implements dials for quick tightening and adjustment. The BOA system is also built very stable, meaning it can reliably hold your blocker on your hand for the entire game.

Goalie Blockers Sizing

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.

Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.

Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.

Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.

    Blocker Hands Simplified
  • Regular - Blocker worn on your Right Hand
  • Full Right - Blocker worn on your Left Hand
