Bauer has released the XRS Roller Hockey Skate for the recreational player looking to get into roller hockey. Designed with indoor use in mind, the XRS Roller Skate features Bauer Court Wheels, the new Flexlite chassis, and plenty of features made to enhance comfort while skating.
Boot Construction & Stiffness Profile
The XRS roller skates feature an Injected Composite Weave boot construction, delivering great ankle and heel support to the first time player. The Bauer skates also feature injected materials to optimize the durability and longevity of the skates.
Liner
The XRS skate uses a microfiber liner for a soft feel while wicking away moisture, helping to keep your feet dry while you wear them.
Tongue
An anatomical 2-Piece tongue has been implemented on the XRS roller skate to wrap comfortably around the skater. An additional insert has been added to the tongue to help prevent and combat lace bite.
Bearings, Chassis & Wheels
Bauer has created a new chassis for their 2025 season called the Flexlite. This chassis has been designed for the recreational player, adding stability and ease of play in a lighter package from previous years. The XRS roller hockey skates use the new Bauer Court indoor wheels and Hi-Lo Abec-5 bearings to offer great speed, impressive durability and intensive grip on surfaces like concrete and asphalt.
Sizing
The Bauer XRS Junior Roller Skate is available in sizes 1-3 in a regular width. The XRS skate is a medium volume skate, designed to fit a standard foot and comes equipped with a standard forefoot, toe box, and heel pocket.
