For the recreational player, Bauer has released the Bauer XR Youth Roller Skate. Designed with street wear in mind, the XR Roller Skate features Bauer Street Wheels, the new Flexlite chassis, and plenty of features made to enhance comfort while skating.
Boot Construction
The XR roller skates feature an Injected Composite Weave boot construction, delivering great ankle and heel support to the first time player. The Bauer skates also feature injected materials to optimize the durability and longevity of the skates.
Liner
The XR skate uses a microfiber liner for a soft feel while wicking away moisture, helping to keep your feet dry while you wear them.
Tongue
An anatomical 2-Piece tongue has been implemented on the XR roller skate to wrap comfortably around the skater and help combat lace bite.
Bearings, Chassis & Wheels
Bauer has created a new chassis for their 2025 season called the Flexlite. This chassis has been designed for the recreational player, adding stability and ease of play in a lighter package from previous years. The XR roller hockey skates use the new Bauer Street outdoor wheels and Hi-Lo Abec-5 bearings to offer great speed, impressive durability and intensive grip on surfaces such as asphalt.
