The blocker keeps most of the old Bauer Vapor 1X specs with additional custom features true to the Ultrasonic graphic, including an Ultrasonic XL palm and an Ultrasonic Free Floating cuff. Opting for these features ensures the palm and wrist areas are more comfortable and protective.

The catcher in this set has a Supreme 2S construction
.
Unlike the 2S, this catcher uses waxed laces in the pocket rather than tough woven nylon, a choice used occasionally for pockets for a good snap, feel, and option for further customization. The wax helps keep the laces dry as well. Extra Poron XRD foam has been added to the thumb area for a more snug fit and additional security. Its game-ready feel means it will require very little break-in from you, and it has a 75° break angle, also known as a 600 break.
