Bauer has been experimenting with combining tech from their other equipment lines, which they have done here to bring you their lightest and most protective Vapor glove yet.
External Material
The Vapor Hyperlite gloves are covered in cable mesh with PU accents, which are standard choices for gloves because of their cut resistance and durability.

External Material
The Vapor Hyperlite gloves are covered in cable mesh with PU accents, which are standard choices for gloves because of their cut resistance and durability. They also have strong moisture-wicking capabilities, which can help keep you dry while you play. The Pro Lite Tex shell further enhances glove durability and hand protection as the first line of defense.
Finger Design & Protection
The gloves are equipped with a three-piece design in the fingers to keep with Vapor’s signature flexibility and freedom of movement at all angles. The fingers are protected by triple-density foam for maximum protection and shock absorption.
Backhand Protection
Bauer combined Vapor’s Shocklite molded backhand plate with their new Defense Cloud Tech (DCT) foam for a 25% increase in protection over the previous 2X Pro. The new foam also keeps with Vapor’s signature lightweight design, with the gloves coming out at 265g.
Thumb Design
The gloves use a simple, two-piece molded Flex thumb, complete with standard foam and plastic inserts. The two-piece design allows for good maneuverability while keeping your thumb in place. Beyond permitting excellent mobility, it also keeps your thumb from hyperextending, which could otherwise cause injury.
Cuff Design
The molded cuff roll has an open design, which offers superior wrist movement. The resulting effect is a cuff that lets you get that extra snap on the puck while providing ultimate protection from slashes and shots.
Palm Material & Gussets
Bauer has further upgraded their CONNEKT+ palm to a DuraCONNEKT palm, the latter of which is 30% more durable than its predecessor. The palm is also comfortable and provides a great stick feel, same as the CONNEKT+ palm did. The gloves stick to using stretch Lycra gussets for good reinforcement while maneuvering on the ice.
Liner
Coming from the Supreme line is Bauer’s Nanosense liner combined with THERMOCORE Zero. What this blend of technology brings is a soft and cool feel. The liner has also been coated with a sweat and odour-managing treatment to keep the gloves and you fresher for longer.
Sizes & Colors
The Vapor Hyperlite Senior gloves come in sizes 14” and 15” in the following colourways: Black, Black/Gold, Black/Orange, Black/Red, Black/White, Blue, Navy, Navy/Gold, Navy/Red/White, Red, and Vapor (Black/Red/Neon Green).

To ensure you're purchasing the proper sized glove, one simple measurement using a measuring tape is all it takes to accurately find your size. Place the tip of the tape measure at the top of your middle finger (or which finger is longest) and measure all the way down to the bottom of your palm. Record this measurement and multiply by two. This will be roughly the size of glove you need. Compare your height, weight and age to the charts provided on each model as well to find your best fit.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Growing Players)
If you are including growing room in the glove for a young player, always round the measurement up to the next whole number (ex. 3.2” x 2 = 6.4” -> 7”).
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Growing Players)
To ensure hockey gloves fit properly for a growing hockey player, have them place their hands in the glove with their palms facing up. Have the player place their hand inside the glove as they would if they were wearing the glove in a normal situation. Take your index finger and put it between the top of the player's palm and the edge of the cuff. Typically you want no more room than the width of your index finger.
You also want to have the player press their fingers against the palm so you can see the outlines. Make sure their pinky finger is at least 3/4” of the way into the pinky slot of the glove finger. To determine if the glove is too small, take your fingers and feel along the inner cuff of the glove just after the palm material. Make sure the player’s palm is not spilling over the material and onto the cuff. You also want to look at the fingers of the glove, and make sure the player’s fingers to fit in each finger slot, but they should not be pressed up against the edge or touching the gussets.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Full-Grown Players)
When sizing for true size (no growth room) using the above measurement, round measurements less than 0.5 down to the next whole number. If the measurement ends in .5 or higher, round up to the nearest whole number.
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Full-Grown Players)
To ensure your hockey gloves fit properly, you want to take a look at two things.
