Junior cut for younger players.
These are Bauer's team pant shells, the nylon cover that goes over a pair of hockey pants or over a girdle. Teams buy them to put everyone in the same colour without buying matching pants, and a player wearing a girdle needs one to finish the look. There is a senior listing and a junior listing.
The shell is a 420 denier nylon with a vented back panel, so it stands up to stick and skate contact and still lets heat out. Closure is a skate lace system, which lets you cinch the waist over whatever is underneath. The Bauer logo is directly embroidered rather than heat-pressed, so it does not peel off the leg after a season.
Four colours are offered: black, navy, royal and red. A shell should sit over the pant without dragging it down, so if you are between sizes or wearing a bulky pant, take the larger shell. Suits teams putting together a uniform look, and any player in a girdle who needs an outer shell.

A shell is sized to go over a hockey pant, so start from the pant size you already wear and match the letter. The senior chart lines each size up with height and weight ranges, and the belt of the pant underneath should sit just above the hip bones. If you wear a bulky pant or sit between sizes, take the larger shell so it does not pull the pant down. Check whether you are on the senior or the junior listing before picking a letter, since the junior cut is built for a smaller frame.
