Shoulder Caps & Protection
The shoulder caps feature molded Hyperlite foam, providing lightweight yet high-density impact protection to shield players from collisions and hits. The design of the shoulder caps allows for enhanced mobility, enabling players to move freely on the ice while still maintaining solid protection.
Sternum Protection
The floating sternum allows for independent movement of the chest and shoulder areas, providing players with an unrestricted range of motion during gameplay.
Spine Protection
The shoulder pads are constructed with a segmented spine featuring a PE insert, designed to provide advanced protection for players. The segmented design allows the spine protection to move independently, conforming to the player's body and providing a comfortable fit, and the PE insert enhances the impact resistance of the spine area, effectively absorbing and dispersing force from high-velocity shots and collisions on the ice.
Bicep Protection

Hockey Shoulder Pads Sizing Information
Sizing before Purchase
To fit for a properly sized shoulder pad, you will need a soft tape measurer to measure and record your chest measurement. To do this, find the widest point of your chest (usually just below your armpits) and measure the circumference. Record the measurement in inches and compare to the available sizing charts in each brand. Also compare your height, weight and age to find your best fit.
Sizing after Purchase
Once you have received your new shoulder pad, stand in front of a mirror and strap them on. You will want to check the follow criteria to ensure a proper and protective fit.
1. The tips of your shoulder are sitting directly under the middle of the shoulder cap. If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap.
- This is important because if the shoulder cap does not sit in the correct position, your clavicles, shoulders, and upper arms can become more susceptible to injury.
- Adjust the bicep guards using the Velcro straps located underneath the shoulder caps (if applicable). At the highest point, the bicep guards should not be more than halfway down the upper arm. This is important because they can interfere with your elbow pads, throwing off the fit.
If you are checking sizing for a child, it is ok for the tips of their shoulder to be under the inner half of the cap and not directly in line with the middle.
