Bauer took to demonstrating their goalie expertise with the new Supreme Mach goalie blocker. Featuring a Connekt+ liner and palm, CURV composite in the board, and a Range of Motion (R.O.M.) cuff, the Mach blocker looks to continue the legacy of the Supreme line by offering elite-level performance to your game.
External Material
The blocker looks very similar in structure and shape to previous Supreme iterations, with a major and noticeable difference over the exterior: the use of Bauer’s brand new SL1D3R skin. This skin can also be found on the leg pads and greatly enhances overall durability and rebound pop in the blocker. The Bauer and Mach logos, as well as the graphics, have been embossed and debossed to flow nicely with the new cybernetic theme of the gear.
Internal Construction
HD foam reinforced with carbon CURV composite keeps the blocker incredibly stiff, light, and ready to deflect any shots that come your way. CURV is responsible for much of Bauer’s success in both the goal and player scenes due to its toughness and effectiveness. In the blocker, CURV displays amazing reactivity on rebounds while being very light, thin, and tough.
Palm Material
The highest-end Supreme goalie blocker now uses a Connekt+ palm, similar to its Vapor Hyperlite counterpart and some top-of-the-line gloves on the player side. Connekt+ is designed to optimize the relationship between your hand and the stick, making maneuvers and puck handling just that much more efficient.
Side Hand Protection
Like the blocker board, the sidewalls are composed of HD foam and carbon CURV composite. The use of the same material along the side of the hand helps connect all parts of the blocker together even further, ensuring you can have the same performance no matter what position you are in on the ice.
Cuff
The R.O.M. cuff is constructed to circle wide around your wrist with a good amount of space, following the theme of its namesake, “Range of Motion.” The wrist strap in that area is designed to keep the glove locked in place, solidifying its role as a temporary extension of your hand.
Hand Protection
Bauer included adjustable velcro finger protection reinforced with Poron XRD foam right above the fingers on the new Mach blocker. The protection plates are also furnished with carbon CURV composite for additional toughness in that delicate area. Poron XRD has amazing absorbent and lightweight properties, making this foam ideal for covering your hands.

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.

Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
