Bauer’s new limited edition Supreme GS collection for 2021 is perfect for players who want elite protection and enjoy some military styles and colours in their apparel. The Supreme GS shin guards come equipped with AMP Split Cap Technology, a new ErgoDynamic Lab knee cap, and THERMO MAX lining to give you full range of motion and protection while out on the ice. With its protective capabilities and green/gold tech camo design, the Supreme GS shin guards will have you feeling secure in your gear and ready to compete.
Shin Protection
Bauer implemented an AMP, or Action Motion Protection, Split Cap design in the shin guard to maximize power in the player’s stride. AMP tech moves with you as you move, keeping you protected without sacrificing range of motion. The Supreme line’s main focus is in power and protection, and this upgrade was made with that goal in mind. The two hinge points in the shin guard allow for flex in the stride and compression in the ankle, helping add spring in every stride.
Knee Cap & Protection
One of Bauer’s newest technologies, the ErgoDynamic Lab kneecap gives the shin guards a deeper fit in that area to keep its protective properties closer to the knee. The kneecap is anatomically molded for comfort and a better fit, which also makes it effective in distributing force on impact across a wider surface area, giving your knee the defense it needs. The knee wing padding above the kneecap is made of multi-density foam to protect the part of your thigh that connects to the knee.
Calf Protection
The Supreme GS shin guards have full coverage over the calves for total protection in that area. The calf guards are equipped with MD PE foam inserts and standard foam, which is the same as the knee wings.
Liner
Bauer lined their Supreme GS line of protective gear with their THERMO MAX liner, infused with hydrophobic sweat management and antimicrobial treatment. The entire process works to keep you cool and dry, and your gear will be feeling cleaner and fresher for longer. In addition, the liner in the Supreme GS shin pads is soft, full-comfort, and fully removable. It is also coloured with the limited edition sci-fi camo pattern of the Supreme GS line, keeping you stylish in the dressing room as well.
Strapping
Integrated on the sides and below the kneecap are Anchor straps, which are built to hold tight and lock on. The backs of the straps are lined with comfortable and flexible material, which also have a wide design to cover more surface area, strengthening the grip and enhancing comfort.
Sizes
The Bauer Supreme GS INT shin guards come in 13” and 14”. If you need a smaller size, you can check out the JR sizes, or if you need a bigger size, you can take a look at the SR pads.
Sizes may differ based on where the shin guard sits on the skates (tongue in or out). To calculate your size, measure your ankle to your knee in inches. Your shin guard size will be 3 inches shorter than your calculation (4 inches if you do not tuck your tongue in). This calculation is an approximation and does not take into account personal preference.
