The Bauer RE-AKT 75 has been developed from previous models for the past decade. Featuring similar builds to the past RE-AKT models, this helmet is definitely a consideration before stepping onto the ice. Equipped with a cage, as well as a variety of different colors, this helmet keeps you protected and stylish while scoring goals on the ice.
Outer Shell Construction
The RE-AKT 75 has a 2 piece shell which allows for the ability to adjust the helmet for the perfect fit, providing better customization. With tool-free adjustment clips, this keeps the helmet in place for an easy fit as well as the right feel throughout the game.
Internal Foams & Liner
Equipped with Layered Foam Construction which has multiple densities of soft, comfortable foam to manage high and low-energy impacts. As well as a Comfort Fit with suspended liner system allows for an enhanced fit and maximum comfort.
Cage Construction
The cage combo of the RE-AKT 75 helmet features a Profile III facemask, which has a carbon steel construction and uses an oval-style wire, effectively keeping your face protected from impact while still allowing for great vision. The cage is CSA, HECC, and CE certified.
Fit & Sizing Adjustment
A true upgrade from the RE-AKT 75 is the new freeform, tool-free adjustment system that covers both the length and width of the helmet. With new research coming out about head injuries, it is becoming increasingly more important to find a helmet that fits your head shape, which is what the new freeform adjustment system looks to improve on. It is important to note that helmets may decrease your risk for head injury, but no helmet can 100% protect you from concussions.
Certification
The RE-AKT 75 helmet is certified with HECC (Hockey Equipment Certification Council), CSA (Canadian Standards Association), and CE (European Community) certification. These stickers indicate their compliance with the applicable standards in different leagues.

Hockey Helmet Sizing
Bauer Hockey Helmet Fit
These helmets tend to fit narrower in width and very standard in length. Bauer helmets tend to be a very middle of the road approach in shape and fit a large majority of heads. For players that have a narrower head these helmets will be very comfortable.
Sizing before Purchase
To fit for your proper sized helmet you will need a soft tape measure. Take this tape measure and have another person snugly wrap it around your head at the largest point, usually just above the eyebrows (see left). Record this measurement of circumference and compare it to the available sizing charts in the brand of helmet you are looking at.
Sizing after Purchase
To ensure a good fit after you have received your proper sized helmet, flip open and unlock the helmet clip(s) and slide the helmet to its last and largest setting. Position it on the head so the rim is one finger width above the eyebrow. Gradually begin to downsize the helmet, pressing on the front and back until a comfortable, snug fit is achieved. Lock the helmet into this size by pressing down and closing the locking adjustment(s). Look in a mirror while wearing the helmet to make sure the ear guards are covering at least half of your ear and to make sure the helmet does not appear to be shifting back and forth on your head.
It is recommended to use a mouth guard although not required. It is recommended that players wear HECC and CE Certified helmets and in Hockey Canada sanctioned leagues it is required for helmets to be CSA approved. CSA, HECC and CE Certified stickers are fixed to the helmets indicating their certification.
