This is Bauer's Nexus butt end plug for 50 flex junior and intermediate sticks. A butt end plug fills the hollow top of a shaft and glues in, so a stick that has been outgrown or cut too short gets its length back. This one is moulded to the Nexus profile, which matters more than it sounds: shaft shapes differ between Bauer's stick families, and a plug cut for a different family will not seat squarely in a Nexus shaft.

Flex and division narrow it further. It is built for the Nexus family's 50 flex junior and intermediate sticks, which are slimmer through the shaft than a senior stick, so check the flex printed on your stick before you order. The plug is 4 inches long. That is the most length it will add, and it cuts down with a saw to whatever you actually need.

It is made from the same TeXtreme carbon fibre as the sticks, so the added length stays light where weight is most noticeable, up in the top hand. Dried glue is already applied, so the install is heat, seat and let it cool rather than mixing epoxy at the rink. It suits a growing junior or intermediate player on a 50 flex Nexus stick.

Type: Composite butt end plug
Length: 4"
Shaft profile: Nexus
Fits: Nexus family 50 flex junior and intermediate sticks
Material: TeXtreme carbon fibre
Adhesive: Dried glue pre-applied

Check the series and the flex on your stick before ordering. This plug is cut to the Nexus profile and sized for 50 flex junior and intermediate shafts, so a senior stick or a different stick family needs a different plug. Length is 4 inches and it can be trimmed shorter before it goes in.
