The Bauer Golf Pant is part of the Bauer golf collection: a polyester pant cut on a tapered hockey fit, meant for the round you play after you step off the ice. It is aimed at the hockey player who golfs and wants a pant that fits like the rest of their wardrobe rather than like a traditional slack. This one is grey.
The details are practical. Slash and welt pockets handle a scorecard, tees and a phone, and a hidden zippered pocket on the right side takes a wallet or a key. Zippers at the outer ankles let you get the hem over a golf shoe. The back of the waistband is ribbed so the pant pulls on easily, and the button and front fly can stay done up while you do it. A carbon clip label sits at the right back pocket, with a tonal Bauer icon at the left pocket.
Tapered hockey fit means room through the seat and the thigh with a narrower leg below the knee. Bauer sizes it on their senior apparel chart, which lists chest, waist, seat and height for every size. Go by waist first, then check the height column, because the taper looks right when the hem lands at the top of the shoe.
