The Bauer Elite Senior Goalie Neck Guard is a great option for Junior, Pro or Beer League goalies who aren’t required to wear a certified neck guard, but want a bit of extra collar bone protection.

External Material

The Elite clavicle guard is made of a durable abrasion resistant nylon on the top while the back side uses Bauer’s ThermoMax to help keep you cool throughout the icetime. One thing worth noting is the use of a new, much more durable velcro than previously seen on Bauer neck guards.

Collar & Clavicle

The collar is much shorter than the Pro neck guard and uses a soft ThermoMax liner. The clavicle portion uses a mix of Rebound Control Foam and other HD foams to absorb impacts.

Shape

The Elite clavicle guard has the same shape as the Vapor it replaces with a wide shoulder wing and a shorter design that fits better into all chest guards than some other options on the market.
