The Aegis Interceptor Pro Goalie Neck Guard is a more beefed up version of the original Interceptor Goalie Neck Guard. The Pro comes with all of the same features as the original, however they Aegis has used 10mm D3O XT Lite foam. This material is a thicker layer of protection and a lighter material, giving you a comfortable neck guard that doesn't sacrifice your protection.

The neck guard itself is constructed of a flexible nylon spandex which is a very breathable material in nature. The flexible properties of this neck guard also allow for a neckguard that moves and forms to the goalies body.

This neck guard is BNQ certified for Ice Hockey.

Aegis interceptor pro-g neck guard

I am very happy with my Interceptor Pro-G neck guard. The fact you can customize the D30 to fit your preference as well as remove the inserts to wash the neck guard make this a very well thought out design. Former neck guards I have owned either provided cut protection with no impact protection or impact protection with no cut protection where as the Interceptor pro-g provides both. I reached out to their customer service department and they went above and beyond to resolve my issue in a manner which exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this product to others looking to get a new neck guard.
