TENDYFEST 2023
Hello Everyone,
It’s been a long time coming, but we are proud to officially announce that the greatest goalie day of the year is back in business - TendyFest 2023! This special event is all about celebrating the goalie community and showcasing the latest and greatest goalie gear.
Everyone is welcome! Whether it’s your first time attending, or you’re a seasoned TendyFest vet, you’re in. There is no sign-up or ticket purchase required. THIS EVENT IS FREE! If you’re planning on coming, please select “attending event”.
Throughout the day, there will be:
- Product demos from top goalie equipment brands such as: Bauer, CCM, Vaughn, Warrior, True, Brians, and more. There will be 500+ demo products to try!
- On-site goalie gear fittings and consultations with our experienced staff, as well as the opportunity to talk with brand representatives directly.
- Giveaways, raffles, prizes, and more! We will also be offering a one-time in-store discount card to The Hockey Shop!
- Food and beverages are available for purchase from the rink restaurant Wild Wing.
How demoing the gear works:
The on-ice portion of TendyFest is a first-come first-serve basis. We are anticipating quite the busy day, so we recommend you show up early if you’re planning on hitting the ice! In order to go out on the ice and demo equipment, you will need a personal or family guardian’s ID (drivers license and/or credit card) to sign out the gear.
You will also need to bring ALL of your own equipment. Once you are done testing out the gear on-ice, simply return the gear back to the respective table.
We will have 2 full ice surfaces with tons of shooters and pucks, so you can fully test out the gear you are interested in. We ask that you please be patient and cooperative with our staff and respect their direction out on the ice. We want everyone to have a fair and equal chance to enjoy the experience.
Final Notes:
We will be updating this event regularly as new information flows in, in addition to sending out emails, SMS, and social media updates in the coming weeks. If you’re not already, be sure to follow those for sneak peeks and regular updates!
