 Power Unleashed

Next season is just around the corner now. If you're a year round player hopefully you're adding a healthy mix of BBQ season with your buds in with your gym sessions and ice times. The Warrior team would approve as these guys like to play as hard as they work....yes I'm talking about you @warriorstickguy.

And that's probably as good a transition as any to talk about the Dynasty HD1 stick.

Warrior Dynasty HD1 stick review

I had a chance to demo the HD1 back in January at the Source fro Sports on-ice demo in Niagara Falls and . Although I normally prefer sticks with a low-kick flex point, I was impressed with the HD1. If you're a fan of of sticks like Bauer's Total One MX3 or the CCM Tacks line you'll really enjoy how easy it is to load the HD1.

Warrior dynasty HyperDrive Kickpoint

HyperDrive Kickpoint

To explain in more technical terms, the Dynasty HD1 features their HyperDrive Kickpoint. This is an easy flexing mid-kick point that turns out high velocity slap shots and one timers. It’s 5% softer under your bottom/mid hand to give you more leverage. This softer flex initiates 28” down the shaft of the stick making it approximately 10% more flexible than other mid-flex sticks.

To explain in less technical terms, think about how about how a bow and arrow work (think Wile E Coyote). The softer flex zone allows you to load the shaft easier and results in an energy return that gives the puck a slingshot effect.

Made in Mexico, the quality and consistency of the sticks made in this factory is top notch. Our store has found Warrior high end composite sticks to be consistently among our lowest warranty return rates. And the Dynasty HD1 aims to improve on this track record with a new, unique blend of 100% carbon fibres and toughened epoxy that are saturated and thermostat cured to create ultimate shaft strength, feel and response.

Strong Arm Taper geometry is wide and resists torque to improve power transfer and accuracy when firing slap shots and one timers. Although this hosel re-enforcement makes the Dynasty HD1 slightly heavier than the Covert QR1, the extra weight is barely noticeable because it's so well balanced.

Add in ProTex Grip for a nice textured surface coupled with a tacky soft grip feel that locks your hands in place for optimum control and this all-new Dynasty stick gives you a sweet feeling mid-kick stick that will provide measurable results to your slap shots and one-timers.
