The TRUE Catalyst Pro SR Hockey Gloves are built with comfort, safety, and durability in mind. These elite hockey gloves feature a tapered fit, newly refined two-piece thumb technology, and Lycra gussets. It is very similar to the TRUE Catalyst 5X, with some additional upgrades, including sharp new TPR branding on the cuff and an AX Suede palm and overlay.
External Material
The Catalyst Pro glove is built with premium nylon material over a hard shell. This approach to the make extends the life of the gloves and protects them from general wear and tear. TRUE’s logo on the cuff has also had a sharp new upgrade, done in TPR branding over the glove, in addition to some more TPR accents across the cuff.
Finger Design & Backhand Protection
The two-piece design on the gloves is classic and offers great overall protection while reducing the weight from excess material. The gloves also feature 20mm EPP with PE inserts to increase the durability of the glove and the wearer’s safety.
Thumb Design
The Catalyst Pro uses a redesigned two-piece thumb style, created from the ground up for the Catalyst line. This restructuring includes reinforced backing, high-grade plastic for better resilience, and a firmer fit around your thumb.
Cuff Design
The cuff is designed for protection and flexibility. Like the rest of the Catalyst line, it features a five-piece cuff design with a molded cuff to give the user more freedom of movement.
Palm Material & Gussets
The palm was upgraded from the Catalyst 5X to an AX Suede palm, which helps with overall comfort. This technology uses a premium eight-way stretch, helping to maximize your control of the puck. This feature additionally increases the glove’s resistance and abrasion durability, making the palm last longer. The Catalyst Pro uses Lycra gussets to further strengthen its pliable and resilient properties.
Liner
The Catalyst Pro uses an antimicrobial liner that prevents bacterial build up and keeps the gloves fresher and cleaner for longer.

Player Glove Sizing
To ensure you're purchasing the proper sized glove, one simple measurement using a measuring tape is all it takes to accurately find your size. Place the tip of the tape measure at the top of your middle finger (or which finger is longest) and measure all the way down to the bottom of your palm. Record this measurement and multiply by two. This will be roughly the size of glove you need. Compare your height, weight and age to the charts provided on each model as well to find your best fit.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Growing Players)
If you are including growing room in the glove for a young player, always round the measurement up to the next whole number (ex. 3.2” x 2 = 6.4” -> 7”).
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Growing Players)
To ensure hockey gloves fit properly for a growing hockey player, have them place their hands in the glove with their palms facing up. Have the player place their hand inside the glove as they would if they were wearing the glove in a normal situation. Take your index finger and put it between the top of the player's palm and the edge of the cuff. Typically you want no more room than the width of your index finger.
You also want to have the player press their fingers against the palm so you can see the outlines. Make sure their pinky finger is at least 3/4” of the way into the pinky slot of the glove finger. To determine if the glove is too small, take your fingers and feel along the inner cuff of the glove just after the palm material. Make sure the player’s palm is not spilling over the material and onto the cuff. You also want to look at the fingers of the glove, and make sure the player’s fingers to fit in each finger slot, but they should not be pressed up against the edge or touching the gussets.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Full-Grown Players)
When sizing for true size (no growth room) using the above measurement, round measurements less than 0.5 down to the next whole number. If the measurement ends in .5 or higher, round up to the nearest whole number.
