The Brian's G-NETik X JR Goalie Blocker is designed for the performance level goaltender who wants premium level features at an affordable price. Using a durable synthetic leather construction layered over a lightweight, balanced HD foam blocker board, the squared off G-NETiK X blocker remains light and balanced while providing good performance. A beveled nose makes for easier paddle down integration while an HD foam sidewall and thumb with a removable thumb pillow provides extra protection and comfort. An open cuff design makes for increased wrist mobility when making blocker saves and playing the puck combined with an adjustable sidewall anchoring strap allows goalies to easily adjust the tightness of the fit of the G-NETiK X blocker.

Internals
The lightweight, high density foam core gives the blocker a squared off look and a very balanced feel while giving shots a lively pop off the blocker.
Palm Material
A soft synthetic No-Slip-Grip SBA palm is used along with an additional raised strip running across the centre of the palm to increase durability while remaining comfortable to wear.
Side Hand Protection
The sidewall and thumb is reinforced with the same HD foam along with a removable thumb pillow giving goalies superior side hand protection.
Cuff
The G-NETiK X blocker features a wide cuff opening seen on many other Brian’s blockers allowing for improved range of motion when making blocker saves and puck play. It uses a durable leather construction with Polymesh vents to keep weight down and give it a rich look. The G-NETiK X uses an adjustable velcro wrist strap allowing goalies to get the desired feel they want.
Hand Protection
The finger protection is made out of a strong foam that keeps your fingers safe from incoming pucks, sticks and skates while remaining comfortably attached with elastic straps.

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
