The Ritual blocker line from Warrior has changed what people think of as possible in a blocker. The Ritual G4 continues that legacy for this year. With unique features found nowhere else but the Ritual line, the G4 intermediate goalie blocker is sure to intrigue many goalies looking for a new blocker.
One of the best, and most unique features of the Warrior Ritual G4 intermediate blocker is the removable palm. It allows the goalie to pull the palm liner out fully and wash it, keeping the blocker smelling as fresh as the day it was purchased.
The Warrior Int goal blocker also features contoured finger protection to keep your hand safe from shots. On some blockers your fingers can be exposed to crunching while in the paddle down position, or just generally exposed to off angle shots. The contouring on the finger protection allows for the hand to sit comfortably contained, with a much lower chance of being in contact with either the ground or the puck. The removable nature of the palm also has the benefit of allowing the finger attachment to be adjustable and set the tension to personal preference.
The Warrior G4 intermediate blocker offers the same lightweight and unique design that goalies expect from Warrior these days, and wraps it in a gorgeous package.

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
