The CCM Premier P2.9 SDC Senior leg pads offer many of the same features as the Premier ll's, at a lower price tag for the growing elite or amateur goalies. The strapping is considered, by CCM, to be one of the most important areas of the pad, so the P2.9 SDC Sr feature the new QMSS strapless set-up that is seen on the Premier lls. The movements of the pads are held in control by a new Velcro calf strap that replaces the large amount of leather ones on the previous Premier R1.9.
This calf strap that can be adjusted to any goalies' preference in length, if they like to play with a looser or a tighter pad. The P2.9 SDC Sr features a shallow soft flex boot for optimal boot flex while skating, and a loose fit leg channel for better pad rotation and on-ice seal in the butterfly.
Our Source exclusive features include a high abrasion Speedskin boot channel to allow for more durability over the life of the pad. As well a HD/PE foam knee stack, to ensure that it stays stiffer for longer as well as helping with the balance of the pad.

Goalie Leg Pad Sizing
Sizing up your goalie leg pads is crucial for having total control while moving in the crease. There are two different measurements you can use to project the size of leg pad you should be wearing. The first one is your floor-to-knee measurement, which you can match up with our provided sizing charts to find the size of pad you would wear, before plus sizing. The second is the sum of your skate size, mid-ankle-to-mid-knee measurement, and your mid-knee-to-mid-thigh measurement. This measurement gives you a rough idea of what overall size pad you should purchase.
