The Brian's G-NETik X INT Goalie Catcher is designed for the performance level goalies who want a durable glove with premium features at an affordable price point. Featuring a comfortable 35º closure, the G-NETiK X gives a balanced full-hand closure combined with a game ready palm allowing the glove to snap shut easily right out of the box. Lightweight, protective foams sit underneath Brian’s durable synthetic leather sporting the same sharp graphic as seen on the G-NETiK IV. A beveled thumb design directs an increased number of pucks into the ultra wide and deep double “T” pocket. AirKnit finger stalls work to keep your hand cool while a premium No-Slip-Grip cuff and palm get grippier as it gets wet keeping your hand locked into the glove through the whole game.

External Material
The G-NETiK X catcher is made using Brian’s durable synthetic leather wrapped around a light, durable foam. A Nash lined palm is used to slow the spin of pucks as they enter the large double “T” reducing the chance for pop-outs. A strong, durable nylon and synthetic leather protects the back of your hand from slashes.

Break Angle
Sporting a comfortable 35º catch angle, the break of the G-NETiK X catcher resembles that of the popular G-NETiK IV. This gives it a comfortable full-hand closure that is easy to close for a large number of goalies and has a natural feeling from the first time you put it on your hand.

Pocket Design
The G-NETiK X features a massive, ultra wide and deep double “T” pocket that acts like a magnet to incoming pucks.

The internals of the G-NETiK X catcher utilize AirKnit finger stalls for superior breathability and comfort. A sewn-in elastic strap sits over the back of the fingers allows for an easier closure and a more secure feel in the glove. A nylon wrist strap along with multiple velcro adjustment straps on the back hand of the catcher allows goalies to customize the fit of the G-NETiK X to their desire. Brian’s uses a No-Slip-Grip synthetic palm and cuff which gets grippier as the material gets wet meaning your hand stays locked in no matter how intense the game gets.

Cuff Design
The G-NETiK X catcher uses a short single piece cuff designed to be stiff, rigid and protective to maximize the catching surface of the glove.

The Brian's G-NETik X Intermediate Goalie Catch Glove is available in 5 colourways including All White, White/Black, White/Black/Red, White/Red and White/Blue.

Goalie Catcher Sizing

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Catcher is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Catcher provides you the protection and stick control you trust.

Which Catcher Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Catcher size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.

Analyzing the Catcher Fit
It is important to make sure the palm lines up properly within the catching glove, so that it can be closed without excessive force. New goalie gloves will be difficult to close initially, but through either a standard break-in process, or "baking" the catcher with our in-house convection skate ovens, they will soften over time.
*We do not recommend using any conventional in-home ovens, as the results have been very unpredictable in the past and could damage your Catcher.*

Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector.

Sizing for Growing Goaltenders
For growing goaltenders we recommend following the guidelines set above, rather than sizing up to accommodate growth. Oversized goalie gloves restrict control, especially for young developing goalies. As you climb the size ladder for Catchers, typically the glove requires more strength for pocket closure.

Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Catcher can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.

    Goalie Catcher Hands Simplified
  • Regular - Catcher worn on your Left Hand
  • Full Right - Catcher worn on your Right Hand
